Always Confused About America

1. Working people often align themselves with affluent conservatives.
2. Working people focus their rage and discontent toward other working people.
3. Education is our nations' lowest priority.
4. National defense and economic expansion are often blurred, so we defend our liberties by occupying sovereign nations, and sowing the seeds of Anti-American sentiment for generations to come.
5. We have one known planet that can sustain life, but we prioritize comfort and luxury over sustainability.
6. We restrict travel to Cuba, but allow foreign nations to control our sea ports.
7. Working people confuse themselves for this mystical group "the middle class."
8. We respond viscerally to the word socialism, as though our capitalist structure so tenuous and unstable the utterance of one word can topple it to the ground.
9. Americans obsess over tanning, risking skin disease and permanent damage - but have never abandoned clear prejudices about skin color.
10. We have the worst case of historical amnesia in the history of the modern world.
